Wanna know more about us?We started out in Brooksville all the way back in 2006, manufacturing Wood plantation shutters, all types of vertical blinds and all types of horizontal blinds. Often we would Install the larger window treatments or specialty weird window coverings for our retail clients. Brad (future founder of Florida Blinds) soon realized he preferred working out in the field and dealing with the fine public of the west coast, all the way east to Lake County.
We would travel as far as Ocala and as south as St Pete Fl. Eventually Brad moved with his dad to Clermont, Fl and together started their own retail company called Clermont discount blinds, LLC. We sold Blinds, shutters and shades to the public retail sector as well as commercial projects. No job was too big or small serving Lake County all the way down to the four corners, Polk and the Disney world area of Orange County.(Winter Garden was tiny back then) After a few years Brads Dad retired and Brad wanted to try new things. Doing so he always felt he wanted to get back into the window treatment industry, this time on his own and his way with his vision for how he wanted his business and a great window treatment company to be run. Fast forward to 2016 back in Orange County, FL - all the planning was done and Florida Blinds was born! Starting out in Orlando (Ocoee then Downtown Orlando) we grew and grew serving all of Orlando all the way up to Sanford and all the way down to Devenport all the way west to Groveland and all there way east to Wedgefield. Striving to be the best shutter company in Central Florida but also offering even more window treatments than ever with tons of operating options from cordless horizontal blinds to rechargeable roller shades. In 2021 we opened a second location covering Port Richey all the way up to Spring Hill and all the way south to St Pete. We now feel we are the best blind store not only in Orlando but the best window treatmaent company on the gulf coast! Florida Blinds provides made-to-measure blinds, shades and shutters to customers in their homes throughout Central Florida and now all the way west to PORT RICHEY FL!!. We also specialize in custom commercial window treatment projects. Working with local governments and law enforcements offering privacy shades, solar screens, aluminum blinds, green guard options, you name it.
